Rosa (Sites) Watkins
Rosa is my 3rd Great Grandmother. She died at a young age while living in Detroit and was buried in Northern Michigan next to her mother and father. Her brother, Elmer, and his family are buried nearby.

The sites were farmers by trade. In his later years, Andrew was a ship's captain in Northern Michigan.
The family are all buried near one another, Despite Della remarrying twice after Elmer passed suddenly in 1912, she is buried by his and their baby's side.

In this letter, dated September 29, 1907, Rosa writes to her father from Detroit. She writes about her sister Della, her husband Lewis (my 2nd Great Grandfather), and hopefully making a trip to her hometown soon. She also writes her address on the bottom, which is represented in a picture within this gallery.
